We were very lucky to have the Army No. 1 Band visit St. Kevin’s on Thursday the 19th January. Led by Captain Fergal Carroll, the whole school enjoyed a medley of songs and learning about the instruments of the orchestra. The band, made up of 17 members, played songs from movies including Toy Story, Night at the Museum, The Polar Express among others. We also listened to songs from Adele, Elton John and Mundy’s Galway Girl (especially for Ms Crimmins!) and lots more. Have a look at the video below for a snapshot into the wonderful concert.
