Junior Infants loved taking part in a variety of different experiments to celebrate Science Week this year. Science with the Bumblebee Class!
Our girls in the Bumblebee Class had lots of fun during Science Week making magic bubbling potions, lava lamps, dancing raisons, watching gummy bears grow and making endless amounts of slime! Well done girls!
Science Week 2022
3rd Class really embraced science by completing lots of exciting experiments! They made potions using vinegar and baking soda, made homemade instruments using recycled materials, made aerodynamic paper aeroplanes and created rainbows using skittles and water! Well done to all the girls for such super work!
Senior Infants at the doctor’s surgery in Aistear
Senior Infants took on the roles of doctor, nurse, patient and receptionist in this month’s Aistear. They also built a doctor’s surgery in the construction station and used the iPads for Literacy and Maths activities. Science Week 2022
1st Class kicked off science week with a wonderful, colourful experiment! We used skittles and warm water to create a magical looking rainbow! The warm water dissolves the food colouring creating an amazing rainbow result!
