This week, 4th Class had the opportunity to take part in fantastic coding workshops with Karen Nolan from Technical University Dublin in Tallaght. During the 90-minute workshops, the girls coded circuit boards called ‘BBC Microbits’ and used Bluetooth to make working thermometers for the classroom. They really enjoyed the workshops and look forward to learning more about coding in the classroom this year. We are very fortunate to have developed links with our local university and we look forward to developing these links further in the future.
