As part of Coding Week and Maths Week, we were delighted to welcome Roisin and Amanda from IT Tallaght to St. Kevin’s on Friday the 12th October to facilitate two coding sessions using cool circuit boards called Microbits. The girls in 3rd and 5th class coded the Microbits to display a variety of words and displays and even made pedometers to track their step count in the yard! It was brilliant fun and we can’t wait to welcome IT Tallaght back in two weeks’ time to do more sessions with all other classes from 3rd –  6th Class.
